George Janssen is a Managing Partner at DesignWise. He was brought aboard in 2020 to open new market opportunities in real estate and development. George played an integral role in establishing the partnership between DesignWise and MarketPointe Commercial Real Estate Services. Prior to starting MarketPointe, George worked with Transwestern for over 7 years in Sales and Leasing. He focused on new business development, third party brokerage and tenant representation in transactions for sales and acquisition.

George has successfully closed on transactions throughout the state of Minnesota. He has concentrated his efforts in the Minnesota real estate market for the majority of his career and has made a name for himself as one of the top brokers in the marketplace.  George was named a Costar Power Broker for his transaction volume and hands on approach to managing challenging requirements.   

Before making the jump to real estate, George spent over 20 years in International Sales and Marketing. He was a National Accounts Director for Rapidigm, where his responsibilities included managing and maintaining the requirements of national clients. George applied his strategic approach to penetrate new accounts and cultivate opportunities with existing clients. 

Previously, George was Marketing Director for SCP Global Technologies. During George’s tenure at SCP, they grew from $40 million to over $240 million in sales during his time as Marketing Director.

George is a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks, the Minnesota Commercial Association of Realtors and the St. Paul BOMA Marketing Committee.  He received his B.S. Degree in Marketing Communications from Bemidji State University.
