Jeff joined DesignWise in 2020 after a 36-year career in the lodging industry.  Most recently, he was Vice President, North America Luxury and Lifestyle Development for IHG, the third largest global lodging company.  Jeff also was Vice President, Global Development for New York-based Dream Hotel Group.

Jeff spent 16 years with Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, where he headed-up their Investment Underwriting group, their Lodging Asset Management group, and their Global Mergers and Acquisitions group.

In the early portion of his career Jeff was a lodging industry management consultant with Laventhol & Horwath in New York City.  He followed that by founding a consulting firm in Prague, Czech Republic, assisting Western investors who were making lodging investments in the newly-opened countries of Eastern and Central Europe.  Jeff then ran Arthur Andersen’s Chicago office Lodging Strategy practice.

Jeff is a graduate of Cornell University and is a member of the Cornell Real Estate Council, the Cornell Hotel Society and has been a guest lecturer at Cornell on numerous occasions.
